The current download is Thesis 2.1.2 compatible; I am working on an even better upgrade for future version.
Just upload the zip file to the Thesis 2 Select Skins admin page and then Activate Skin.
N.B. If you get an error on install it is most likely because your server is not running PHP 5.3. If that happens please contact me.
All the main colours are managed via variables in the CSS editor. Hover over a variable to view its value, or click on it to edit it.
k1 uses the Gumby 12 column grid format, which uses simple classes to determine the size of the columns and automatically format them. The default format is 2 columns; content 9/12 wide and sidebar 3/12 wide.
In order to change the proportions of the current columns simply change the classes of the Content and Sidebar boxes (click on the gear icon when hovering over a box to access the HTML class options). Specify the space of the twelve column grid each column should occupy with the class name (e.g., eight). See the gumby documentation for all the options.
To add a new column on the right add a new container box after the Sidebar box, inside the Content Area and Wrap. Give that container a class of
columns and the number of columns it should take up separated by a space (e.g.,
two columns if you also set Content to
eight columns and Sidebar to
two columns; or any other combination totalling 12). Then add your content to the new container (e.g., a widget box, or text box).
To create a sidebar-content-sidebar layout a few more steps are needed. Please ask me in the comments if you need these instructions.
